Children celebrated Maghe Sankranti, a Nepalese festival which brings an end to the winter solstice. CPCS International helped provide food such as laddus, the sphere-shaped snacks you can see on the pictures. Laddus are sweets originating from the Indian subcontinent, usually made from flour, sugar and fat, but can also contain semolina, coconut or sesame seeds. Happy Maghe Sankranti !
